This is LOVE
– MOTION GRAPHICS –
“This is Love” marks the inaugural Just Do It women’s campaign for Asia Pacific. Aimed at Asian women aged 19-21, the campaign’s objective was to capture the excitement of sports and their significance in daily life. Featuring dance, kickboxing, basketball, and volleyball, the campaign highlights the dedication, passion, and commitment of young women in the region, drawing a parallel between the emotions evoked by sports and the experience of falling in love.
Leveraging the Flash technology available at the time, Ogilvy Philippines developed an innovative concept for an interactive microsite that showcases women in their chosen sports. This platform allows women to register for events they wish to participate in and see which members of their network are also attending, fostering a sense of community.
In this project, my specific role involved designing and programming the front end, which included incorporating motion graphics and animation to enhance the overall presentation.
The animations and motion graphics were all carefully thought out to represent the best qualities of the women featured in the campaign. Going above and beyond what was requested, I took initiative and meticulously animated each piece of doodle which exudes a more dynamic energy. Easing the movement of the elements as they enter and exit the screen evokes a sense of grace.
